PopRock Club is a community-driven music discovery platform where listeners explore and rate playlists created by human curators.
Is PopRock Club part of Spotify?
No. PopRock Club is independent and is not owned, operated or sponsored by Spotify.
Does PopRock Club host music?
No. Music stays on official third-party services.
Do I need Spotify Premium?
No PopRock Club feature requires Premium. Spotify may apply its own playback rules.
Can I listen without creating an account?
Yes. Public pages and official provider links are available without an account.
Who can rate playlists?
Verified registered members whose accounts are in good standing.
Can curators rate their own playlists?
No.
How are playlist charts calculated?
Charts combine rating quality, legitimate participation, recency, saves and trust signals. They do not use a simple average alone.
Does paid promotion affect organic rankings?
No. Paid placements are labeled and kept separate.
How do I submit a playlist?
Verify your account, create a curator profile and submit a supported public Spotify playlist URL.
Can I submit someone else’s playlist?
Only when you are authorized to represent it. Ownership disputes can be reported.
Why was my playlist rejected?
Common reasons include duplicate URLs, weak original context, inaccurate categories, broken links or submission-rule violations.
How do I report a broken playlist?
Use the Report control on the playlist page.
How do I become an Approved Curator?
Complete an accurate profile and submit a playlist that passes moderation.
Can artists submit music?
Yes, through the Submit Music page for editorial consideration.
Does payment guarantee playlist placement?
No. Payment never guarantees placement, a positive review or organic rank.
What information is public on my profile?
Your display name, avatar, public biography, badges and published playlists may be public. Your private email is not shown.
How do I delete my account?
Use the deletion request in Account settings.
How do Spotify embeds affect privacy?
Loading an embed connects your browser to Spotify. A consent placeholder is used where configured.
